Ideal Room hotel

We continue along Magdalena street and then go up Tierra street to see:

The IDEAL ROOM hotel (corner of Real street and Tierra street)

Designed by Rodolfo Ucha in 1915.

Designed to house the former Ideal Room hotel, it is in itself an original synthesis of styles. A taste for turn-of-the-century eclecticism prevails and distances it slightly from Art Nouveau. The absence of decoration in cement is surprising as well as the reappearance of dressed granite masonry in its foundations. The curved corner pilaster is also worth noting.
